Centring
Every so often I feel excited, ambitious and ready to re-centre myself in order to really take steps towards my goals. Now is one of those times. I’m 4 months postpartum with my sweet little Sonny, and I feel a fire more than ever before to 1. Become the very best Mum I can be to this boy, and 2. Really go after those big dreams in a way that is compatible with and complementary to life as a present mother.
Every few days I get new ideas and insights. This practice of ‘centring’ involves taking some quiet time to sit down with my journal, light a candle, play some music, make a tea, run a bath even - and get clear on how I want to live in this chapter of life.
